INNOVATION AND HIGH PERFORMANCE IN TABLET COMPRESSION

TPR 200 & TPR 500 – The Future of Pharmaceutical Tablet Compression.
Syntegon’s TPR series of tablet presses represents the next step forward in the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries, combining high efficiency with solutions that are easy to operate and maintain.
Ready to meet the most demanding production levels, from Research and Development (R&D) through to large-scale production. Featuring a compact and hygienic design, they ensure maximum return on investment by maximising equipment uptime.
TPR 200: Flexibility for R&D and Small to Medium Batches
The TPR 200 is a robust rotary tablet press, ideal for small to medium-sized batches, with a very compact footprint and reflecting the latest trends in easy cleaning, easy maintenance and maximum flexibility (capability to produce both single-layer and double-layer tablets).
Features:
Capacity to produce approximately 230,000 tablets per hour.
Compact, easy-to-clean design that complies with strict GMP standards.
Modular powder feeding system with a two- or three-blade design.
Capability to convert to the production of double-layer (bi-layer) tablets.
Benefits:
Patented technology: The use of the integrated die (patented by Syntegon) provides a production capacity approximately 25% higher, improving overall yield.
Quick cleaning and setup: The simple design of the production area allows for very quick cleaning, optimising Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
Formulation flexibility: Modular feeders allow a wide range of materials to be processed, ensuring adaptability to different products.
TPR 500: Productivity and Ease of Use for Large Batches
The TPR 500 is the ideal solution when the aim is high productivity combined with top-quality output, meeting the production needs of medium to large batches.
Features:
Output of over 400,000 tablets per hour using standard tools, within a compact footprint.
Fully removable tower for incredibly fast format changes.
Hygienic design with a two-level production zone, ensuring complete separation between the technical and production areas.
Proven Siemens torque drive.
Benefits:
Ultra-fast format changes: Allows the tower to be removed in just 10 minutes (without the need to remove the punches and their respective cam tracks), completing the product changeover in less than an hour.
Minimised maintenance: The Siemens drive system has no fast-wearing parts, which substantially reduces maintenance requirements and costs.
Superior tablet quality: Integrated with the ‘True Flow’ discharge ramp, which enables a smooth delivery free from mechanical stress, which is particularly beneficial for friable tablets or those with complex shapes.
Intuitive operation and compliance: Equipped with a user-friendly 21-inch touchscreen HMI, featuring software that complies with GAMP 5 guidelines and enables full compliance with 21 CFR Part 11.
